That knocks the price from $249 to $199 and it’s the best price for a 3rd generation thermostat I’ve seen in months. It’s currently tied with the 2nd generation sale price on Amazon. There are no promo codes or minimum purchases, just head over to nest.com to get this deal. The sale ends July 4th.
The Nest thermostat is still arguably the flagship thermostat in the market. Ecobee and Honeywell offer competitive thermostats at similar price points, each with their own distinguishing features. Nest has the largest ecosystem of the three, though, and unless you’re an Apple Homekit house (and honestly, who is?) Nest will work with anything that its competitors work with and more.
If you’ve been in the market for a Nest thermostat, this is probably the best price we will see until the holidays.
